During Field III, I collaborated with the other Grade 6 teachers to support student success. Due to COVID-19, practices and policies at the school were always changing; the Grade 6 team learned and adapted together to ensure a safe learning environment for every student. Together, we built our collective expertise on how to navigate online learning. My collaboration with other teachers is discussed by my Partner Teacher in the quote provided. Furthermore, by constantly asking for feedback, reflecting on my lessons, and applying necessary changes, I learned effective classroom management strategies. The PDF included clearly illustrates my reflections from the “Fitness Testing” lesson that I taught during Physical Education. The first reflection from November 6, includes my thoughts on how I could improve my lesson. The second reflection from November 10, describes how the changes affected the lesson, and my further considerations for future lessons.
