Throughout Field III, my confidence in my ability to connect with my students blossomed. Building appropriate, professional relationships with my students and peers is something that I have valued and prioritized throughout my development as a teacher. I believe that these relationships are foundational to becoming a teacher, because they will inform all of my future decisions. Additionally, my willingness to request, accept and incorporate feedback, and my passion to help others succeed are qualities that contribute towards my natural leadership skills. Each of the quotes from my Field III Partner Teacher, and Field III Instructor emphasized the respect, care, and empathy that I have for my students. And I feel that this is a strength that I have which will carry on throughout my Teaching career.
